May 14, 2022 Out of the grow tent. Whaaaaaa?! Is she done? Advice please?
May 14, 2022 Out of the tent. So, umm... What do?
May 14, 2022 Better. Flash out of the tent. Clouds? Or am I crazy and those are mostly clear?
May 15, 2022 Combining all the blurry pics together makes me think she is almost all cloudy... I think.
May 16, 2022 Satisfied with 10.4 oz wet weight. 10.8 after bud wash and removing the branches.

Impressions about plant

I was planning on harvest today, but I'm not so sure she is quite there yet. Trichome check in a little while. Will update throughout the day. I took some Macro pics and honestly, I can't really tell what's cloudy and what's clear. I'm starting to see a few more amber trichomes. I'll check again tonight, but if anyone can make sense of the pic I added, that would be great. Lol so I took pics of her outside of the tent. I used a flash to clear out shadows. The results were night and day compared to how they come out in the tent. Why is this? Anyway, after seeing such a difference, I'm wondering if I SHOULD harvest today. Maybe tonight. I'm starting to see a lot of clear trichomes and frankly, her pistils are still standing up in a lot of places. Good thing she's in my bedroom. I'll be check periodically throughout the day tomorrow to see if there was much activity. She could be ready in a day, tonight, couple of days, a week? Who knows.

I checked her out this morning and I see a bunch of new amber, a lot less clear and clouds galore. Not quite there yet. I'll be checking throughout the day. Maybe tomorrow. I'll update if something happens.
I got some clearer pics. There is a whole lot of cloudy and I barely see any clear or amber. Isn't this the exact time to harvest? Maybe another day.

So I took a whole bunch of rapid fire trichome pics to get at least a few in focus. I got more than I expected. From what I can see, she has mostly cloudy trichomes, some clear patches and some developing amber. Personally, I still don't have enough knowledge to really be exact. I did do a Google lens search on a few different pics. A lot of them matched up to a trichome guide cloudy photo. Like almost exact. But, I'm not sure if that is how the whole plant is supposed to be at harvest. Also, with progressive harvest, should I start with the finished colas to open up all the light to the lower buds? Or should I just cut her down and get rid of the small buds that didn't get there in time? Totally lost here. Lol. The war in my head is so real. Anyway, I posted a pic of today's blurry macro.
Update: screw it. I barely see any clear trichomes. And I'm seeing Amber starting to develop. This i believe is the right time for a fun giggle high. Wet trimming now, then snip snip. Bud wash and then the drying rack. I have a couple tiny budlets that still have white, but they are all the way at the bottom and are tiny.
Update: Harvested! Wet trimmed! Washed! De-branched! Drying Rack! See you in 4 days with an update.

Day 1 of drying. I have absolutely no clue how long it's gonna to dry. I'd guess a week? Bud wash after a wet trim. Using an AC Infinity drying rack, so I cut the buds off and left the colas alone. Snipped off the excess stems and left her in the tent with 2 fans and my exhaust on a super low setting. Temp is 68 degrees. Room humidity is 47%. The tent is completely black. Zero light leak. So here's the issue I'm having. I plan on starting my next grow ASAP. I have 1 single tent and I'm using it as a drying room. So based on my environment and harvest technique, how long should I wait to start germination on my next girl? I'm using a peat pellet and have a small seedling setup on a shelf. I guess the real question is, how long will it take from pellet to Sohum soil? A few days? A week? Just trying to ensure I don't keep her in the seedling station for too long. Any suggestions? After doing the math and researching my own grows, I'd have 11 days from today to get her in the tent. Based on what I have been reading, it should take about 10 days to dry. Maybe a little less. So check out my new journal! Twilight Sparkle is in the water now.

Checked last night. Buds are drying nicely. I was doing some research last night and discovered that bud washing doesnt add much water weight. So drying wet trimmed bud takes 3 to 4 days? Ok, I'll go with that. I'm thinking 5 to 7 days now instead of the 10 I was thinking yesterday. I will also be curing for 2 months. Update complete

Correction from yesterday. I'm giving 2 more days to fully dry. Definitely not much extra water is retained from a bud wash, and definitely closer to 3 and 5 days drying time. The smaller buds are a bit airy and fluffy. I'm sure that was due to my mistakes in training and late defoliation. I also learned about 16 hours too late, that harvesting progressively with autoflowers is best. Or whatever it's called. Taking from the top and working down the plant as she ripens up. Too late. Oh well. Next time. The buds are definitely getting there and half the size and weight before drying started. Gonna take samples as soon as she's done drying. She definitely has some strong aromatics. Smells wonderful.

Still drying out. But almost done. I'm thinking tomorrow.
