12/06 Day 11
12/12 Day 17
12/12 Day 17

Impressions about plant

Those 5 gallon pots prepared Saturday throw off a ton of humidity. Messing with the fan to get it right, when overnight humidity skyrocketed to 95% when the light shut off.

12/06 (Day 11) - Plants look great. Not reacting negatively to the yoyo temp/RH as I mess with the fan or cranking the lighting up and dropping the distance. 5 gallon pots felt dry after just two days from filling. Ended up adding 8 gallons of water to get maybe 1 gallon of run-off. Realized after the first 4 gallons that I did not adjust PH (Nuts!). 2nd 4 gallons was straight RO. PH of the last of the run-off measured 5.9, so I think I'm fine. It was a pain in the ass to siphon off the run-off, and could not get it all. More research required. May have to order larger diameter trays, as there simply isn't room between the riser and the current tray for anything but the 1/4" hose. Tired of trying to adjust the analog dial on the fan. Ordered AC Infinity T6 with digital controller. Should arrive 12/07.

12/07 (Day 12) - Tent conditions at lights on was 68F / 95% RH. Kicked the fan up a notch and got humidity down to the 60's. How do I keep the humidity under control and the temps in the high 70's? More research needed. Humidity in the bedroom 55%. Monitoring.

Screwed up in ordering the ACI T6. I can get the S6 (same fan manual control) and the bluetooth Controller 67 for $10 more than the T6, which has no bluetooth. Ordered the pair from Amazon and will be returning the T6 once I make sure the whole business works. Really need a digital controller. Humidity is not easily controllable using the analog dial.

Planning to transplant to the 5 gallon pots on Sunday (Day 17). Need to get some clear Solo cups for next time, so I can actually see root growth.

12/08 (Day 13) - T6 came this morning. S6 to arrive on Friday. Plants look great. Still trying to get humidity under control. Need to stop adjusting when I'm half in the bag.

12/09 (Day 14) - Hoped to hold off on watering until closer to transplant. No dice. Several showing water stress and cups are dry. Watered to run-off with RO and Cal-Mag, PH’d to 6.2. I noticed roots are escaping from the drain holes. Should be good to transplant any time.

12/10 (Day 15) - S6 and Controller 67 arrived and installed. Total game-changer for managing temp and RH. Set to activate at 78 F / 65%. Trying to keep temp 77-82 and VPD in the green for veg. Since I watered yesterday I decided to transplant into 5 gallon pots. Root growth was strong! Used Mycos in the hole and around rootball. Watered with 4 gallons of Jacks at full strength, with Tribus and Recharge at recommended dosage. PH 5.9. Got 1 gallon run-off.

12/11 (Day 16) - The bedroom was a gawdawful swamp this morning. Broke down and got a 50 pint dehu and set up in bedroom. Set for 40%. Watered w 4 gallons of Jacks at the latest ratio (3.8 / 2.5 / 1.0). 2 gallons run- off.

12/12 (day 17) - Plants ranging between 4"-6" in height. 3 gallons of Jacks, 1.5 run-off. Started LST on the two largest plants. Just tipped them over. Spread the buckets around the light perimeter, to give everyone even lighting. umols are a bit over 400 all around.

Trying to find the right balance between light, heat, and humidity. Bedroom is at 76F. Too damn hot. Dropped light from 35” and 60% to 30” and 50%. Maintained the 400-500 umols at the canopy. Hopefully lower the room temp w/o affecting the tent temp.
