I bought 8 feminized White Widow seeds by White Label from Sensi Seeds.

I chose this strain for our first ever cannabis grow because of its long history, high-quality flower, and maybe most importantly, its reputation for being resilient and forgiving for first time growers.

I bought a 24x24x72 indoor grow tent from AC Infinity. It uses a 100W LED light board and 6” carbon filter / exhaust fan for circulation and air quality. It also has a WIFI controller with humidity and temperature sensor.

I’m germinating 3 seeds, hoping that they all sprout, but might not all make it through the first few weeks.

My wife is a skilled gardener, but we’ve never grown cannabis, and we’ve never grown anything indoors with this type of setup. I’ve never even germinated a seed, so we’ll see how this goes. I’m big on just starting, making a bunch of mistakes, and learn along the way. I fully expect this first grow to end early, but if I wait to start until I feel like I know what I need to, I’ll never start.

So, here we go.

Germinated on damp paper towel for ~4-5 days. Planted in waaaaaaay too much soil. Next grow will start in small cups.
