Scared that my plant is dying. Yesterday the root/stem started to poke out of the top soil. It looked like a pale green. Once I could see the root, I put it under my grow lights. I left it there for about 10 hours, and when I came back I could see the root lost it's green color and looked closer to brown shades. I watered it with a spray mist bottle, and the root looked more like off-white shades than brown. I'm not sure what the problem is, but any help is greatly recommended.
