Started germination stage today. Will follow the same technique I used on my first grow which result in 100% germination: After 24 hours of soaking seeds in distilled water I will transfer to moist paper towel until seeds sprout. From there transplant into a peat pod and place into a solo cup with Happy Frog soil

Grow tent is a repeat of my first grow which I had no major issues. It was pretty much by the book as far as what I read from the internet. My main focus will be on PH / PPM issues with my soil, feed water and run off. As I read my grow journal from my first grow everything was going like clock work until week 5. That's when issues with browning of my leaves. I've decided to use Fox Farm trio on this grow starting week 4. Hopefully I can take a step forward in the learning process with this grow

Tested soil PH = 6.3...No issue, Performed first real watering (tap water PH 6.3), up to this point I was spraying the soil lightly with distilled H20. My intention at this point is to water by the 5 day rule: Water day 1 & 5 giving the plants 2 wet days and three dry days. Will start added Mega Crop amendments starting week 5 unless plants start showing signs they are lacking nutrients

Week 5 Day 7: Plants are are growing better than expected. Humboldt's Secret nutrients are working and providing what the plants need without burning them. Feeding schedule using 1/4 of the min recommended dosage seems to work at this point, feeding only once per week no matter how often I water. Using Deer Park bottled filtered water I have stopped PHing my water with PH Up/Down allowing my organic soil to buffer my soil to the desired PH. That too, seems to be working! Watering every 4 - 5 days and using a soil moisture probe is a big help in determining when I need to water my plants. Maintaining Lights @ 24" @ 75% intensity at this point and slowly increasing the intensity is also a good practice (By week 7 when plants reach mid flowering Lights will be @ 100%). At the beginning of week 7 all nitrogen will be stopped from my feeding schedule and K & P will be increased along with adding HS Flower Stacker.

Following Okie Grows from You tube. Only talking head I have seen on the internet that doesn't mix growing in Coco with growing in organic soil. If your reading this and your using Fox Farm soil I highly recommend you watch his channel, he will show how it is done for growing in organic soil
